Tryon Creek State Park is a 635 acre natural day-use area about 1 mile from the hotel. The park has 8 miles of biking trails, 3.5 miles of horse trails, and 3 miles of paved bike paths. Over 50 species of birds and many small animals, including beaver, live in the park.
Downtown Portland is only a 15 minute drive from the hotel. While downtown you can walk around Pioneer Courthouse Square, stroll through Tom McCall Waterfront Park, and eat at the many great restaurants.
Columbia River Gorge - Take the historic Columbia River Gorge Highway along the Columbia River. Stop at Multnomah Falls where you can hike to the top for a spectacular view of the gorge and the falls. Mt. Hood is only 1 hr 15 minutes from Lake Oswego.
